Japan ready to intercept DPRK's rocket - People's Daily Online

Naoki Tanaka, Japanese Defense Minister, officially order the Self Defense Forces Friday to shoot down any part of the rocket that the Domestic People's Republic of Korea plans to launch next month that enters its territory.

On Friday morning, a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda approved the order.

Naoki Tanaka said that the rocket would possibly fly over areas in Okinawa and Sakishima Islands, once it deflected from its trajectory it would threaten Tokyo.
