Low-level Osprey flights in mountainous areas dangerous: U.S. expert - Avionics Intelligence

Flying MV-22 Osprey transport aircraft at very low altitudes in mountainous areas is far more dangerous than the planned operations near a U.S. Marine base in Okinawa Prefecture, as maneuvers can be affected by air currents, possibly triggering pilot errors, a U.S. defense expert has warned.

Editor's note: While the area around the base may not be mountainous, Okinawa's Northern Training Area (NTA) where the Osprey will conduct much of their training is!
