Kim Hyun Joong Voted Best Actor At The Okinawa International Movie Festival

Jackie Chan's "Chinese Zodiac (CZ12)" and "The Happy Life of Debbie" by Taiwanese director Tien-Yu Fu took home top honors at the 2013 Okinawa International Movie Festival.

"Wow! It's indeed good news and a pre-birthday gift to me," Chan said in a statement after receiving the award, according to the Hollywood Reporter

The action star turns 59 on Sunday.

"Thank you so much for this award, which is very encouraging. I'm so happy that you love 'Chinese Zodiac,' which I spent six years preparing and one year filming."

Comment: OK, so some totally unknown Korean Dufass won the best actor award at a Okinawan Film Festival that we're sorry to say is still relatively unknown even in "acting" circles. To make it all even, when he gets to be as well known as Jackie Chan,we'll include a snippet about him in a story with a headline about Jackie Chan winning the "Oscar" for Best Actor.
