Ginowan City cops bust Marine on DUI charges | Japan Update

Police have arrested a 27-year-old U.S. Marine on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Okinawa Prefectural Police say they’re holding 1st Lt. Louis Kim of the U.S. Marine Corps’ Futenma Marine Corps Air Station in the Ginowan City. Kim is suspected of having driven a car while under the influence of alcohol in Chatan Town at around 2:45 a.m. Saturday.

According to the police, Kim ran a red light and turned left at an intersection. A policeman nearby noticed this and questioned him.  A breath test on Kim detected alcohol exceeding the limit. He has denied the allegations. Three women, all non-Japanese, were in the car, according to the police.

Comment: Talk about "Monkeying" around, here he runs a red light, makes an illegal left turn and to top it all off, he did it while under the influence of alcohol at oh-dark-thirty in the morning. For a chaser he has three non-Japanese women in the car!!! This guy was either thinking with the little head and/or just plain going for the gold. I wonder whose trophy wives they were??? Hope they were worth it!
