Obama, Abe plan US-Japan summit in Russia in early September - The Japan Daily Press

Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and United States President Barack Obama plan to hold meetings on the sidelines of the summit of Group of 20 major economies in Russia early next month, a Japanese government source revealed on Tuesday. The side meeting is likely to take place on Sept. 5, on the first day of the G-20 annual gathering. Should the meeting push through, the summit would be the second meeting for the two, following their Washington summit in February.
