Tropical Storm 12W (Trami), Update # 5; - Pacific Storm Tracker - Stripes

Where will Tropical Storm Trami head? That remains uncertain, given that it's pretty much ground to a halt some 460 miles south of Okinawa. For the moment, Trami is still forecast to curve west and pass about 210 miles south of Kadena Air Base at 10 p.m. Tuesday, although that could change. PST will keep a sharp lookout, as always. U.S. bases on Okinawa remain in Tropical Cyclone Condition of Readiness Storm Watch, as has been the case since Saturday.

As for Tropical Storm Pewa, the news for the Wake Island group keeps getting better as the Joint Typhoon Warning Center's forecast track keeps diverting north. Pewa should rumble 195 miles northeast of Wake at 6 p.m. Wednesday Wake time. It should still be a tad breezy and rainy, but Pewa's most severe winds should be well to the north.
