Obama, Putin face off over Syria at G-20 | The Japan Times

U.S. President Barack Obama and Russian leader Vladimir Putin failed Friday to end their bitter dispute over American plans for military action in Syria, as half of the Group of 20 economic powers called for a “strong” response to a chemical weapons attack blamed on the regime.

Obama said that the world could not “stand idly by” after the Syria chemical attack, but Putin warned that it would be “outside the law” to attack without the U.N.’s blessing.

Putin also said Russia would “help Syria” if the U.S. were to strike, pointing to existing military, economic and humanitarian cooperation. “Each of us kept with our own opinion,” said Putin, who has emerged as one of the most implacable critics of military intervention against the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad for an alleged chemical weapons attack on Aug. 21.

Asked what Moscow would do if military action began against Syria, Putin said: “Will we help Syria? We will.”

Comment: When I find myself in agreement more with the president of Russia than I do the president of the United States of America it can mean only one thing, America is in deep kimchi! The Obamanator is not ready for prime time and making decisions way above his pay grade. Even ole Dumb-Ass Joe Biden could make better decisions than this.

BTW, if push comes to shove, who do you think is gonna win this fight, the former KGB Colonel (a professional killer) or the former community organizer (the guy who went door to door for voter registration drives)???
