Onodera, Kennedy agree to cooperate in base relocation issue | GlobalPost

Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera and new U.S. Ambassador to Japan Caroline Kennedy agreed Thursday to steadily implement the relocation of a U.S. military base within Okinawa Prefecture, as they seek to strengthen the bilateral alliance to cope with security challenges in Asia.

"The presence of U.S. forces and bilateral cooperation between Japan and the United States is very important and serves as a common asset in Asia," Onodera said in a meeting with Kennedy, part of which was open to journalists.

Comment: Maybe it would be a good idea if she read little bit about Japan to include important shit like "The Constitution" before making any sort of agreements don't you think??? You've heard of the Japanese Constitution haven't you? That's the thing Japanese Prime Minister's use to wipe their asses with. Sort of like how president's and congress do in the good ole U.S.S.A. (a.k.a.) the United "Socialist" States of America.....
