It is time for Japan to take a lead. This is easier said than done, not least because it requires imagination and statesmanship as well as a high level of diplomacy in cultivating relationships with new friends and old enemies, all of which have been in short supply in Japan’s relations with the rest of the world.

Comment: The world doesn't need global leadership. That only leads to despotism, misery and death for a lot of people. Think about what Stalin, Hitler, Mao and Pol Pot did for their nations cause that's where the so called "great leaders" lead us.What the world needs is for the leadership to get out of the way and let the people figure it out for themselves! We need entrepreneurship not central planning! All of this Keynesian, Marxian, Fascist, "Statist" central planning bullshit is what created this mess in the first place!
